Our Catalina Island vacation rental is located on the middle floor of a 3 story property. On the ground floor are a clothing store, a jet ski rental, an ocean rafting company and a psychic. It is 14 steps up (No elevator).
This waterfront rental is ideal for 2 families, 1 large extended family, or 3-4 couples, and is highlighted by a 65 foot wide deck with fantastic views across Avalon, the beach, the harbor, the mountains and the ocean.
The unit consists of:
- Queen Bedroom with private 3/4 bath
- Double (Full) Bedroom with private 3/4 bath
- Narrow bedroom with 2 Twin Beds
- Queen Bedroom with fantastic harbor view
- Extra Bedding: There is a queen sofa sleeper in the living room
- There is a 3rd full bath off the living room.
The kitchen was newly remodeled in 2008 and is fully contained with plates, silverware, utensils and cookware. It also has a microwave, blender, toaster and new refrigerator and stove. The dining table seats 7 and there are 3 additional bar stools at the kitchen counter. 3 large windows and a sliding glass door provide gorgeous harbor views 24 hours a day.
You step outside onto the front facing deck that looks directly out over the harbor with unobstructed views towards the world famous Casino. This section of the deck is mostly covered and provides a nice shady retreat. This area has a redwood table and benches that sits 8.
Off to the left, the deck opens onto a larger, sun-drenched area that has another patio set with an umbrella and 6 chairs. This area is where most people hang out; either sunbathing, having a drink and lounging, eating, playing card games, BBQing or simply watching the world go by. You are in paradise!
